Terms of Reference

The Academic Review and Planning Committee will do the following, by a process of review, research, and consultation, focused on such considerations as the expansion of knowledge and emerging disciplines; trends towards the integration of existing disciplines; new developments in pedagogy, student needs, demographic and occupational shifts; the needs of the province and the nation; and financial realities:

• regularly review existing programs and policies with a focus on quality assurance and developing initiatives
• report to Senate the results of reviews carried out and, as appropriate, make policy and program recommendations to Senate
